Large wheel thrown ceramic jar with lid ash glazed in blues and greens. Lid handle is mounted with a hand formed clay animal, possibly a rhino or small bear. By multidisciplinary Japanese-American artist Art Towata (1933-2019). Signed and dated 1991 on the bottom.
