Framed Print of Theophrastus

Greek philosopher, Theophrastus of Eresus, has been deemed the father of botany. He was a great orator and made several impactful discoveries regarding plants and pharmaceuticals. This print is from an original oil painting by Robert A. Thom. There is slight water damage to the ivory, particulalry around the bottom portion of the piece. Cerused oak framed under glass.
