Meeting Place #3 | Gloria Gaddis

Oil on canvas by Gloria Gaddis (b. 1945). Signed, title and dated 2001 on back. Large scale saturations of oxblood, cream, mustard and a hint of cornflower blue on the edge. Gaddis' abstract works focus on graphic lines, bold uses of space and dramatic color palettes which you can see here. 

Note: there is a small tear in the canvas (lower portion to the right of the yellow form) that has been patched on the reverse. See photos.
