19th century illustration published by John Tallis & Company (1838-1851) of a working woman. Typical of the time, the illustration was then handed off to a colorist to enhance the depiction. Some watermarks on paper, in overall beautiful condition. Solid wood frame, under glass.
Illustration is signed 'Moore' on lower right hand corner.
