'Fragmentism' Portrait #1

Framed oil on canvas. The son of the artist is shown here at age 6 in his father's self described 'fragmentism' approach to painting. Tom Williams (1932-2008) was a prolific artist, inventor and father of 10 children. I particularly enjoy the slight nods to the Art Deco in the background. Signed and dated 1989. 

Inscription on the back from the artist: 'I will always be grateful to the greater power of the universe for giving me the experiences that led me to painting this.'
